The 2023 “Frontiers in Magnetism 5th edition” of IEEE Magnetics Society Italy Chapter will be held on 7-9 May in Ischia in south of Italy in front Naples.

Venue and trasportation
The conference venue will be Ischia (see more information at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ischia). Ischia is the most developed and largest of the islands in the Bay of Naples. An early colony of Magna Graecia, first settled in the 8th century BC, Ischia today is famed for its thermal spas, food, landscapes and beaches. The conference location will be at the Hotel La Reginella (La Reginella Resort & Thermal Spa) which is a 4-star hotel with Spa and the thermal center in the central square of Santa Restituta, in the heart of Lacco Ameno, surrounded by a wonderful park and with a thermal garden with 7 indoor and outdoor pools.
How to arrive to the port of Naples?
By airplane to Port of Naples
The closest airport is Napoli-Capodichino in Naples (https://www.aeroportodinapoli.it/). It features several flights from the major Italian cities such as Milan, Rome, Torino, Palermo, Catania and Venice and many international direct flights from important European cities. From Napoli-Capodichino airport You can reach Porto of Napoli in two ways:
(i) There is a direct bus departing from Aeroporto and arriving at Port of Naples. Services depart every hour and operate every day. The journey takes about 40 minutes costs €1 – €5 (it is the cheapest solution)
(ii) The quickest way to get from Naples – Capodichino Airport to Port of Naples is to taxi which costs €10 – €20 and takes 10 min.
By train to Port of Naples
You need to travel to the Naples train central station (Napoli Centrale) which is connected to the national high-speed railways (Frecciarossa and Italo trains) from the main Italian cities. The suggested way to get from Naples Central Station to Port of Naples is to take a taxi which costs €10 – €20 and takes 5 min.
From Port of Naples to Ischia
We are planning to take the boat at 2.35 PM from the port of Naples (Molo Beverello) to Ischia (Forio Porto) – The cost is 20,00 Euro. Plan your travel to be at the port of Naples on 7 May 23 by 2.00 PM (ferries-naples-beverello-forio-d-ischia).
Reservation option
If you wish that we reserve your room in the hotel venue from 7 to 9 please send us the payment of 500,00 Euro if you pay with bank transfer or 530,00 Euro if you pay with credit card. This cost includes the housing for a room in the conference venue on 7 and 8 May (2 nights) and the breakfast.
