Workshop on Seismic Metamaterials

Scope of the Workshop

Seismic metamaterials are a technology which is promising for the development of devices for building isolation and protection of critical infrastructures. This virtual meeting will focus on recent advances in the field of seismic metamaterials and innovative isolation systems with a particular attention to the solutions based on the properties of periodic chains with ad-hoc designed mechanical elements. The invited talks will be delivered according to the following program.
