Dissemination and Exploitation

  1. Organization of first edition of “The International Workshop on Ising Machines (IISM)” in Messina, Italy from April 16 to 18, 2024. https://www.petaspin.com/isingmachines2024/ – We have set up a community with this conference, the second edition was in Northwestern (Evanston, USA) and the third edition will be in Singapore
  2. Organization of the third edition of Trends in Magnetism conference (TMAG2023) held in Rome from 4 to 8 September 2023 (https://www.petaspin.com/tmag2023/). Paola Tiberto, from INRiM (Istituto Nazionale di Ricerca Metrologica) Torino, and Giovanni Finocchio, from the University of Messina were the two co-Chairs of TMAG2023. The trending topics of TMAG 2023 will be related to “Spintronic devices including multiphysics based design” and “biomedical applications of magnetism” where we want to create a chance for the experts in those fields to meet and move the scientific community forward.
  3. We have lunched a Winter School on “Spintronics: fundamentals and applications” focusing on furnishing concepts related to the fundamental and applied aspects of spintronics.  Now at the 4th edition that will be held in December 2025, the school is a reference for Italian and European PhD students working on magnetism, magnetic materials and spintronics and to enforce networking the participation is limited to 30-35 students selected through a competitive application process. The first three editions were co-sponsored by this project:
  4. Contribution, with the chairmanship of INRIM and the organization of special sessions sponsored by IT-SPIN, to the organization of the 14th International symposium on Hysteresis Modeling and Micromagnetics (HMM 2025), held in Torino (Italy) from 25 to 28 May 2025 (https://old.symposium.it/en/events/2025/14th-international-symposium-on-hysteresis-and-micromagnetic-modeling-hmm).
