Social Activities
Two social activities will be organized during the conference, offering participants the opportunity to experience local culture, history, and relaxation.
Day Trip to Lake Como, Bellagio and Social Dinner- 9 Sept 2026
A day trip to the beautiful Lake Como is also planned, including a visit to Bellagio, one of the most charming towns on the lake. The program will combine guided activities with free time, allowing participants to explore Bellagio independently, stroll through its picturesque streets, visit gardens, or relax by the lakeside.
Programme
Bus Transfer: Politecnico di Milano → Bellagio
Conference participants have been divided between two buses. Please check your badge to find out which bus you have been assigned to (A or B).
Guided Tour of Bellagio
Upon arrival in Bellagio, we will be welcomed by our tour guides. Conference participants have been divided into four groups. Please check your badge to find out which group you have been assigned to (1, 2, 3, or 4).
Boat Excursion
Following the guided tour, we will enjoy a picturesque boat excursion on Lake Como.
Group Photo
Upon arrival in Como, we will take an approximately 8-minute walk to the Tempio Voltiano, where we will stop for a group photo.
Social Dinner
The day will conclude with a social dinner at:

After dinner, buses will take participants back to the Politecnico di Milano.
Practical Information
To make the most of the day, we kindly recommend the following:
- Punctuality: Please be on time at all meeting points, as the programme will follow a fixed schedule.
- Comfortable clothing and shoes: Please wear comfortable clothing and footwear to fully enjoy the walking tour, excursions, and boat ride.
- Badge: Please remember to wear your conference badge throughout the day, as it indicates your assigned bus and guided-tour group.

Visit to Milan Cathedral (Duomo di Milano) – 10 Sept 2026
A must-see experience in the heart of the city: a guided tour of Milan’s Cathedral with access to its iconic rooftops and spires. Accompanied by a professional guide, participants will discover the history, architectural features, and fascinating details of one of Milan’s most famous landmarks, while enjoying breathtaking panoramic views over the city.
