How to reach us
The conference will take place in Milan, Italy, at Politecnico di Milano – Leonardo Campus, located at Piazza Leonardo da Vinci 32, 20133 Milano. A useful map of the Politecnico di Milano campus is provided by the maps.polimi.it platform (Milano > Milano Città Studi > via Bonardi > Building 11).
Getting to Politecnico di Milano
Participants travelling to Milan can arrive at any of the city’s three main airports — Milano Malpensa (MXP), Milano Linate (LIN), or Bergamo Orio al Serio (BGY) — or by train at Milano Centrale or Milano Porta Garibaldi railway station.
- From Milano Linate Airport: Take the M4 metro line (blue line) from Linate Aeroporto to Argonne. From there, the Leonardo Campus can be reached on foot in approximately 15–20 minutes. Alternatively, you can take a taxi directly to the campus.
- From Milano Centrale: take the M2 metro line (green line) towards Cologno Nord/Gessate and get off at Piola. The campus is a short walk from the station.
- From Milano Porta Garibaldi: take the M2 metro line (green line) towards Cologno Nord/Gessate and get off at Piola.
- From Milano Malpensa Airport: the Malpensa Express provides direct train connections to both Milano Centrale and Milano Porta Garibaldi. From either station, continue by M2 metro to Piola.
- From Bergamo Orio al Serio Airport: direct shuttle buses connect the airport with Milano Centrale. From there, take the M2 metro to Piola.
Conference venue and rooms
The conference activities will take place in Buildings 11 and 16B of the Leonardo Campus.
- Building 11 can be accessed from either Via Ampère or Via Bonardi.
- Keynote and invited talks will be held in Aula Rogers (Room A), Building 11.
- Parallel sessions will take place in either Aula Rogers (Room A) or Aula IV – “Aula Quarta” (Room B), Building 11.
- Poster sessions and coffee breaks will be held in the nearby Building 16B, Room 16B.0.1.
